ODG for eReader Now
Available - Click here to order
June 3, 2010 – Encinitas, CA – ODG Treatment,
including the Official Disability Guidelines, can now be purchased
in a format that makes the guidelines accessible on your eReader,
including the Apple iPad, Amazon Kindle, and Sony Reader.
The “ODG for eReader” can be purchased alone, or is available at a
discount to new and current subscribers along with their ODG Treatment
Online subscription. The benefit of “ODG for eReader” is that it
allows all the mobile freedom that a workers’ comp and non-occupational
disability professional needs when doing paperwork, research or reviews
while traveling or in the field. It comes in a format that is easy to load
on electronic readers, and just as easy to view and search. “ODG for
eReader” includes both the treatment and disability duration guidelines,
as found in the ODG Treatment set.
“I was hoping ODG would become available in a format that would allow me
to access the treatment guidelines on the go, especially since I am
oftentimes away from my desk conducting onsite forensic, expert witness
and utilization review, as well as doing outpatient consulting,” said
Dr. Richard Kaplan of Uniontown Medical Rehabilitation, P.C. “I
purchased ‘ODG for eReader’ as soon as it became available. The file
loaded with no problems and it works great including color and searching.
‘ODG for eReader’ has made it easier to bring the tools I need
wherever my work takes me.”
Users should note that the “ODG for eReader,” like the hard-copy
version of ODG will be published annually. For this reason, users are
encouraged to purchase the ODG for eReader in addition to their online
subscription to ODG, which is updated with new procedures and references
as soon as they are reviewed.
The 2010 “ODG for eReader” is available for $45 with the purchase of ODG
Treatment Online ($325), and $45 as an add-on for current subscribers. It
is also available for $260 as a stand-alone.
The 2010 release in the ODG product line (including the 15th edition of Official
Disability Guidelines and 8th edition of ODG Treatment in Workers
Comp) provides the most up to date evidence-based medical treatment
and disability duration guidelines to improve as well as benchmark
outcomes in workers' compensation and non-occupational disability. ODG
2010 is based on an aggregate of over 10 million cases, including CDC and
OSHA, referred to as the "most direct form of evidence that can
be offered in court" under the Federal Rules of Evidence, plus over 2
million medical records from actual workers’ compensation and disability
claims.
